On 2nd of Dec, AIDOT, a medical AI company announced that its cervical cancer remote diagnosis AI system technology was selected as one of the '2021 National R&D Excellence 

100'.

This selection has been ongoing since 2006 as a system to select excellent technologies every year to enhance the public's understanding and interest in science and technology that has led national development.

Cervical cancer remote diagnosis AI system 'Cerviray' developed by AIDOT is the world's first solution that combines artificial intelligence with the VIA technique that morphologically determines whether or not there is an abnormality in the cervix.

Through joint research with Korea University Anam Hospital and Seoul National University Bundang Hospital Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, the performance demonstrated 

93% of sensitivity and 89% of specificity.

Cerviray AI enables immediate screening without building a separate infrastructure.

Seong-won Choi, vice president of AIDOT, said, “By being selected as one of the top 100 national R&D experts, AIDOT has been recognized for its efforts and skills, and will continue to develop world-class medical artificial intelligence products to become Korea's representative company in the global market."
