Establishment of Cervical Cancer Research Center in Hunan Province

On 8th of Aug, Buzzpole, a medical ICT specialist, signed a contract to establish a joint venture with China's Zhongze Group at the Pangyo Marriott Hotel in Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do.

At the signing ceremony, Chairman Yun-taek Ha, Vice Chairman gon Na, Vice President Kook-heon Gyo (CSO) of Joongang Group, Hong-Feng Zhang, Kyung-Yo Chang, CEO of Hunan

Province, Korea Buzzpole Co-CEO Jae-Hoon Jeong, Co-CEO Seong-Won Choi, Director of Strategic Planning Yong-Jun Kim, CTO Jin-hyeon Kim, Seoul National University Bundang

Hospital Professor Ki-dong Kim, and Korea University Anam Hospital Professor Seong-min Kim attended.

Through this official joint venture contract signing ceremony, Buzzpole decided to jointly establish a cervical cancer research center with the Zhongzhu Group in Hunan Province,

China, and conduct artificial intelligence-based medical ICT health related to gynecological cancer such as mammary cancer as well as cervical cancer. It was decided to expand into

 a care research center.

Buzzpole's artificial intelligence-based cervical cancer remote diagnosis system, ' Cerviclinic A.I.', is scheduled to be commercialized in the first half of 2019 after clinical trials in

China and CFDA approval.

Buzzpole said, “The performance has already been proven through a software certification authority in Korea, and all reviews to proceed with CFDA through a Chinese joint venture

have been completed. By preparing the foundation for commercialization in China, consider expanding the Chinese market not only to gynecological cancers such as cervical cancer

and mammary cancer, but also to various fields such as cerebrovascular, dementia, cardiovascular diseases, and lung cancer that meet the old-age policy in consideration of the aging of Chinese society."

Sung-won Choi, co-CEO of Buzzpole, said, “The signing of the main contract with Zhongze Group can be said to be a green light for Korea’s AI healthcare field to advance overseas. AI technology alone is already more developed overseas, but service through collaboration with excellent medical technicians in Korea is a technology that cannot be followed overseas. Now, I think the difference between winning and losing will be when the AI-related medical healthcare field is applied to real life through active overseas expansion and

commercialization, rather than just research.”
