AIDOT selected as a support company for AI convergence medical image reading system

AIDOT announced that it was finally selected for the AI convergence medical image reading system support project which is organized by the Health Insurance Review and 

Assessment Service and the Information and Communication Industry Promotion Agency. With professors of emergency departments at Hanyang University Hospital and Seoul 

National University Bundang Hospital and it will develop an artificial intelligence solution in the field of ureter stones for two years.

 

 

The event was attended by key figures from the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service, and the Information and Communication Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), including Prime Minister Boo-kyum Kim, Kwang-jae Lee and Ki-heon Song, members of the National Assembly. The opening ceremony of the demonstration lab was attended by AIDOT, Crescom, and JLK companies, which are selected companies for the project.

 

In particular, AIDOT demonstrated its own artificial intelligence-based carotid ultrasound stroke pre-diagnosis system called "SONO dot AI." Co-researcher Jin-pyeong Jeon, a 

professor of neurosurgery at Hallym University Chuncheong Sacred Heart Hospital, demonstrated and explained the product, and said the main advantage was that the diagnostic 

effect of general hospitals can be obtained with the help of artificial intelligence in primary and secondary hospitals.

 

AIDOT announced that SONO dot AI has secured more than 93% accuracy in diagnosing carotid artery plaques and is in the process of obtaining approval from the Ministry of Food 

and Drug Safety.

 

At the event, AIDOT's CEO Jae-hoon Jeong explained, "Korea's excellent artificial intelligence solution developed with the support of the Ministry of Science and ICT will accelerate its overseas expansion with global competitiveness as well as domestic."
